This year, Artwalk is pleased to announce its first ever Multicultural Village to celebrate Sarnia-Lambton's growing cultural diversity. The Village, generously sponsored by TD Bank, was conceived during a discussion between local high school students and the Sarnia-Lambton Local Immigration Partnership (LIP). The students, looking to organize a multicultural event, approached the LIP for support and connections to the community. Together, they approached Artwalk organizers, themselves looking to add a larger multicultural component to their 2 day festival. A partnership was struck and the Village was born.

The TD Multicultural Village, located at the north end of Artwalk on the corner of George and Christina Streets, includes ethnic food booths, traditional dance and entertainment. A station will also be set up for henna painting. A portion of the proceeds from the food booths will be donated to the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign.
