Recognition of Foreign Credentials

One of the first steps to start a career in your field in Sarnia-Lambton is to obtain recognition of your foreign degrees or diplomas. Often the terms used for certain professions may differ from one country to the next. Employers often demand that your foreign credentials are certified by an independent organization. Among the many regulated professions are nursing, teaching, plumbing, and engineering.

Browse the following resources for information:

World Education Services (WES) provides credential evaluation services to help employers understand the exact nature and Canadian equivalency of the educational background of prospective employees. The evaluation verifies the authenticity of credentials submitted.
