Health Care Connect helps Ontarians who are without a family health care provider (family doctor or nurse practitioner) to find one. People without a family health care provider are referred to a family doctor or a nurse practitioner who is accepting new patients in their community.

If you are unable to find a family doctor upon arrival in Sarnia-Lambton you may choose to visit a walk-in clinic for treatment. A walk-in clinic is a clinic that does not require you to already be a patient of one of the doctors working at that site. No appointment is needed, however, you may have to wait a long time to see a doctor. Walk-in clinics can also refer you to specialists in the area.
