The community of Aamjiwnaang First Nation, formerly Chippewas of Sarnia, is located on the St. Clair River, 3 miles south of the southern tip of Lake Huron, in the city limits of Sarnia. Lambton County is located in southwestern Ontario. It is bordered on the north by Lake Huron, the west by St. Clair River (Canada-United States border), the south by the municipality of Chatham-Kent and Lake St. Clair and the east by the County of Middlesex. Lambton has a population of just over 128,000 people. Those residents live within 11 municipalities and 3 First Nation communities located in Lambton including: Brooke-Alvinston, Dawn-Euphemia, Enniskillen, Lambton Shores, Oil Springs, Petrolia, Point Edward, Plympton-Wyoming, Sarnia, St. Clair, Warwick, Aamjiwnaang, Kettle & Stony Point and Walpole Island.
